Billy Gene Preston

Billy Gene Preston, 82 of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Fleming County, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after an illness of several weeks. He was born April 9, 1942, in Goddard, Kentucky to the late Craig Preston and Rhoda Henderson Dotson.
Billy was a former U.S. Shoe employee and was retired from Honda Motor Manufacturing in Columbus, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, game shows and visiting his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Hardy and Barbara Louise Preston, nephew, David Hardy, niece, Connie Hardy Muse and nephew, Robert (Robbie) McLean. Also, several cousins and other relatives and friends.
Survivors include his sister Betty McLean and her husband Mike and a niece Savannah McLean.
Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg.
At his request, no funeral service will be conducted.
