Brenda Joyce Gulley Younce

Brenda Joyce Gulley Younce, 66 of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at UK St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Kentucky.

She was born November 17, 1959 in Wallingford, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ben Gulley and Mildred McKee Mineer.

Brenda had worked in housekeeping at Pioneer Trace Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

She attended the Lexington United Baptist Church and she enjoyed participating in activities at the Fleming County Senior Center and square dancing.  Brenda loved her flowers, especially roses, but most of all she loved her grandbabies. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene Gulley, Danny Gulley, and Robert Mineer.

Survivors include two children, Roger Pence (Crystal) of Arkansas and Michelle Gardner (Billy Richey) of Wallingford; her ex-husband and current boyfriend, Paul Younce; five grandchildren, Elijah Gardner, Nevaeh Richey, Oliver Richey, and Helen Pence and Evelyn Pence; and special aunts, Jennifer McGlone and Patricia Hunt whom she thought of as her sisters.

No services will be conducted at this time.
