Carl Hall

Bro. Carl Dean Hall, 73, husband to Nancy Reynolds Hall, passed away Friday July 19, 2013 in Lexington, Ky.- Born in Letcher County Ky. to the late Enoch and Maggie Webb Hall.- Carl was a retired school teacher and coach in the Letcher and Pike County School system, a Kentucky Colonel since 1987, and had been a minister for over 40 years, and was currently serving as minister of the Foxport Baptist Church.-

Besides his wife, he is survived by: a daughter, Deana (James) O'Bannon of Flemingsburg, a grandson, James Paul O'Bannon, a step grandson, Edward Wayne O'Bannon, one sister Loretta (Charles) Powell of Dayton, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.- Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.-

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Tuesday July 23 2013 at the Foxport Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Joe Watson, Rev. Arthur Moore, and Bro. Rick Jones.- Visitation will be held on Monday July 22, from 5-8 pm at Denton-Workman Funeral Home.- Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Whitesburg, Ky on Wednesday July 24, at the convenience of the family. Pallbearers will be the men of the Foxport Baptist Church.-

Memorials are suggested to Foxport Baptist Church, in care of Lula Harris, 97 Pleasant Valley Rd. Wallingford Ky. 41093.-
