Christopher "Cowboy" Gehring

Christopher "Cowboy" Alan Gehring, 56 of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at his home. He was born November 8, 1965, to Dr. Samuel W. Gehring and the late Doris True Gehring.

Chris was a 1984 graduate of Fleming County High and a graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He was a construction worker and carpenter also held certification in HVAC. He loved to hunt, fish, horses and enjoyed the time living on a ranch in Arizona. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter Emy (Clinton) Glascock of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, his father, Dr. Samuel W. Gehring of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. One brother Phillip (Maria) Gehring of California. Two grandchildren, Oliver Back and Laney Glascock.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.

Private interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg is after 12 Noon Saturday.
