Donald Owens McKee

Donald Owens McKee, 69, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at his residence.

He was born July 6, 1953 in Flemingsburg, a son of Ruby Gladys Thurman McKee and the late Mauvoreen Owens McKee.

Donald was a United State Air Force Veteran, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and UK Basketball.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Gladys Thurman McKee of Flemingsburg, two sons, Mauvoreen "Mac" McKee and Donnie McKee both of Flemigsburg, one granddaughter, Zoe McKee, two sisters, Vickie Conley of Centerville, Kentucky and Roma McGuire of Nicholasville, Kentucky, three aunts, Dorothy Caudill of Morehead, Kentucky, and Elsie King and Beatrice Vice both of Flemingsburg and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Rev. Cleve King officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the United States Air Force, the W. N. Fant American Legion Post No. 5 and the Franklin Sousley V.F.W. Post No. 1834.

Visitation at the funeral home is after 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service Saturday.
