Elizabeth Squier

Elizabeth 'Betty' Jane Squier, 84, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home following a brief illness. Born October 23, 1929 in Ocala, FL, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Laurence and Marian Elizabeth Link Pentecost. Betty was a retired certified home health provider. She did Hospice work in Ocala, FL for many years and moved to Flemingsburg in 2000. Betty worked at the Senior Citizens Center in Flemingsburg for a while and she also did home health in Flemingsburg and Morehead. Betty was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by: a daughter, Marian Hardymon of Dickson, TN; a grandson, Bill Hibbs of West Virginia; a granddaughter, Jenny Lynn Betty of Ocala, FL; and two great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Fleming County Library Community Room. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Dr., Maysville, KY 41056. Condolences may be made at www.dentonworkman.com
