Eunice Gray

Eunice Marshall Gray, age 88 of Fleming County, widow of William Barrett Gray, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Baptist Health in Lexington. Born March 25, 1931 in Mt. Carmel, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Lola Gardner Marshall.  Eunice was retired from farming and a member of the New Life Church of Christ.  She is survived by: her children, Darrel (Judy) Gray of Flemingsburg, Gerald (Lynda) Gray of Flemingsburg, Linda (Wayne) Hickerson of Wallingford, and William Gray of Augusta; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Mellenkamp of Georgetown, KY, Jill (Anthony) Koch of Paris, Sara (Jarred) Darnall of Maysville, Kathryn (Josh) Bowman of Morehead, Andrew (Kasey) Hickerson of Flemingsburg, Rebecca Hickerson of Wallingford, Jonathan Gray of Augusta, and Hannah Gray of Augusta; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Shari Gray; a sister, Phyllis; and a brother, Charles Marshall. Funeral services will be 1:00 Friday, July 26, 2019 at the New Life Church of Christ officiated by Bro. Darren Fizer and Bro. Dan Bentley. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, July 25th at the church. Burial will be in Elizaville Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the New Life Church of Christ, 374 Helena Rd., Flemingsburg, KY 41041.
