James Cecil Hall, 85, of Muses Mills, KY, went with the Lord on Monday, May 19, 2014 at his home. He was born in Muses Mills, KY on July 22, 1928, the son of the late William McKinnley and Renee Sue Hall. James retired from Chrysler. He was an avid mechanic, farmer, animal lover, and an overall amazing man. James was also an avid traveler making numerous trips across the United States. He helped establish the Muses Mills Fire Department. James loved his wife, his family and Bluegrass Music.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Ruth Hinton Hall; children, Jack (Gabby) Byron of Medway, OH, and Jo Ellen (Dave) Clark of Muses Mills, KY; two sisters, Cathleen Hency, and Janic Ryan; a brother, Wendell (Barb) Hall; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Maurice; and one son, Ricky Dean Hall.
Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Ronnie Conley. Visitation will be 2-4 pm Thursday, at the funeral home.
