Karen Donovan

Karen Vicroy Donovan, 64, of Ewing, wife of David Donovan, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville. She was born December 6, 1950 in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late William F. and Dorothy Swab Vicroy.

A graduate of Springboro High School in Springboro, OH and of Morehead State University, Karen was a retired teacher's aid with the Fleming County School System and she was a member of Ewing Christian Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Donovan of Flemingsburg; a son, James William Donovan of Ewing; three brothers, David (Carol) Vicroy of Palm Bay, FL, Steven F. Vicroy of Lexington, and Kevin Vicroy of Palm Bay, FL; an aunt, Barbara (Dick) Rhodes of Brookville, OH; several in-laws; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Anthony Donovan. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Ewing Christian Church officiated by Pastor Larry T. Ingram. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Ewing Christian Church, P.O. Box 284, Ewing, KY 41039.
