Obituary

Larry Wayne Glascock, 75 of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born August 21, 1951 in Fleming County, Kentucky a son of the late Cecil Glascock and Catherine Glascock.

Larry was a carpenter for many years. He was a school bus driver for Fleming County Schools and later became a vice president for the Peoples Bank of Kentucky in Flemingsburg for 30 years. He was a member of the Wallingford Methodist Church and Tilton Church. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club, ODD Fellows, the Fleming County Country Club, and enjoyed golf, softball, fishing, and hunting, most of all Larry loved his family.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Glascock; a beloved brother in law, R.B. Carpenter, and a sister, Mary Graves.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rhonda Carpenter Glascock; one son, Tracy (Becky) Glascock; one daughter, Brittany (Justin) Rees; five grandchildren, Danielle (Cody) Hunt, Clinton (Max) Glascock, Jaxon Rees, Kaden Rees, and Ashby (AJ) Rees; five great grandchildren, Evie Hunt, Nate Hunt, Hazel Hunt, Laney Glascock, and Brynlynn Rees. A sister, Carolyn Vice, several other relatives and friends, and special friend Jarrod Fritz.

At his request no services will be conducted.
