Lula Harris

Lula Kathryn Harris, 90 of Foxport, Kentucky passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 23, 2021 at her home. She was born June 7, 1931 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Gertrude Marshall Mineer.

Mrs. Harris was a member of the Foxport Baptist Church and enjoyed flowers and bowling. She adored her family and was a kind and loving Mother and Grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Harris, two sons, Dennis Ray Harris of Franklin, Kentucky and Phillip (Cathy) Harris of Foxport. Four sisters, Joyce (Harry) Meadows, June (Markie) Dillon and Betty (Mike) O'Connor all of Foxport and Aileen (Eric) Carpenter of Mt. Carmel, Kentucky. One brother, Charles Mineer of Lewis County. Grandchildren, Jason Scott Harris, Lindsey Harris, Kimberly Ann Harris, and Katie Harris. One step-granddaughter, Amanda (Jamie) Highfield. Five step-great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Addisyn, Allisyn, Paetyn amd Madilyn.

Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Foxport Baptist Church in Foxport with Pastor Harry Meadows officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mineer Cemetery.

Visitation at the Foxport Baptist Church is after 12 Noon Monday.

Pall bearers will be Ashley Dillon, Tyler Dillon, Rodney Mineer, Ralph Mineer, Chris Worthington, and Jeff O'Connor.

Honorary pall bearer will be Barry Dillon.
