Michael Martin

Michael R. Martin, 59, of Mason County, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was born June 8, 1955 in Mt. Sterling, KY, a son of the late Clyde and Dixie Goodwin and the late Allen Martin. Michael managed Highway Oil for 17 years and he was a former heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy (Steve) Harmon of Flemingsburg, Sarena Martin of Flemingsburg, and Melissa Martin of Mason County; a son, Stacy Martin of Mason County; former wife, Margie Martin; four brothers, David Hostetler of Montgomery County, Larry (Sue) Martin of Maysville, Rusty (Jo) Martin of Dover, George Martin of Mason County; and four sisters, Debbie Duzan of Lewis County, Sarah (Martin) Meadows of Greenup, Diane (Clyde) Logan of Sevierville, TN, and Linda Donathon of Flemingsburg; five special grandchildren, Steven Harmon, Savanah Tackett, Sierra Tackett, Shana Harmon, and Shelby Tackett; and special friends, Albert and Edi Russell of Mason County. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Martin. Michael's wishes were to be cremated.
