Michael Ray "Frog" Hay, 50, of Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on January 17, 1972 in Fleming County, Kentucky, a son of Junior Ray Hay and Lola Florence Ingram Hay.
Mike was a tree trimmer. He was an expert and would take on jobs that no one else would. He was fearless and at home like a monkey in the trees.
He was a true country boy and loved being outside and in the woods. He could survive finding ginseng, yellow root, and wild mushrooms; and hunting wild game.
Mike was good hearted; he never met a stranger, and was always there willing to help anyone who needed it.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Sarah Mullins Hay, three sons, Christopher S. Hay (Cassie Noblett), Jacob Pace and Michael Shane Hay, two step-daughters, Rudy C. Mullins and Tracy E. Mullins, a grandson, Mason S. Hay, a brother, Jeremy Hay (Ashley), grandmother, Mary Agnes Johnson and aunts and uncles, Charles Bobby Hay (Alberta), Emily Hay, Opal Hay, Shirley Ingram, Ronald Ingram, Gary Ingram (Marie), Larry T. Ingram (Jan) and Sharon I. Andrews.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Ewing Christian Church with Brother Larry Ingram officiating.
