Paige Shawndel Dillon, 23, of Flemingsburg and formerly of Maysville, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. Born August 12, 1991 in Maysville, she was the daughter of Dwayne and Sandy Hurst Dillon of Flemingsburg.
Paige was a 2009 graduate of Mason County High School and a church member of Ramey's Chapel in Fleming County. Paige was very family oriented, full of life, and enjoyed the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with her dad and Papaw Jerry going hunting and fishing and boating, and also riding and racing 4-wheelers. An avid cheerleader, Paige loved cooking and baking, snow skiing, and making crafts. She also loved to help paint and was always up for doing a new project. Recently, she helped deliver baby kittens, nurturing and caring for them with a mother's touch. Although her time on earth was short, her zest for life and love for others could fill many lifetimes. Paige will forever be missed by her family and friends.
Besides her parents, she is survived by: a brother, Justin Hurst of Milwaukee, WI; a sister, Tiffany Dillon of Flemingsburg; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Jean Dillon of Flemingsburg; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Betty Hurst of Flemingsburg; aunt, Becky (Brian) Bowling of Flemingsburg; uncle, Darian Dillon of Flemingsburg; aunt, Angie (Jeff) Stephens of Ewing; aunt, Doren (Dave) Farrington of Kokomo, IN, aunt, Belinda Moran of Flemingsburg, uncle, Darrell (Lindsey) Edwards of Lexington, aunt, Marlena (Mike) King of Carlisle, and aunt, Terra (Stacey) Vice of Flemingsburg; cousins, Morgan Stephens, Ashley Bowling, Cameron Dillon, Jordan Stephens, Chris Webb, Dana (Todd) Mays, Ryan Hurst, Tyler Mitchell, MaKayla Maggard, Mallory Vice, Lucy Edwards, and Carter and Kaden Mays; and numerous other great-aunts, great-uncles, and family members.
