Phyllis Patterson

Phyllis 'Betty' Patterson, 81, of Flemingsburg, widow of Carey Patterson, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at her residence. Born in Fleming County on March 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Tinsley Dyer. Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of Flemingsburg Apostolic Community Church.

She is survived by: two daughters, Janie (Jerry) Pollitt and Connie (Michael) Cooper; a son, Danny Glascock; a brother, William Dyer, Jr.; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: three brothers, Tom, Marvin, and Kelly Dyer; two sisters, Ethel Kelley, and Lillie Smoot; and a grandson, Danny Glascock, Jr.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home officiated by Bro. O.D. Rudd. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, September 26th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Pollitt, Matt Pollitt, Davey Smoot, Josh Glascock, Scott Dyer, William Cooper, Michael Cooper, and Jerry Pollitt.

5-8 pm Thursday, September 26th

Funeral:
1:00 pm Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home

Interment:
Fleming County Cemetery
