Ricky Allen Walker, 59 of Burtonville, Kentucky passed away peacefully Friday evening, April 16, 2021 at his home after an extended illness. He was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky on May 27, 1961 to the late Jimmie Marshall Walker and Loretta Mae King.
Ricky was a truckdriver and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kara Jean Wilson and Jaxston Denhamn Walker.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Susan Ruark Walker. Two daughters; Tiffany (Jeff ) Henderson of Maysville, Kentucky and Amity (Shannon) Lewis of Wallingford, Kentucky. Three sons; Cody (Tammy) Walker of Tollesboro, Kentucky, Derrick (Kadney) Walker of Foxport, Kentucky and Hunter (Megan) Walker of Tollesboro, Kentucky. Two brothers; Jeff Walker of Utah and Robert Walker of Flemingsburg. One sister, Mary Sue (Lyndon) Kinsel of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Twenty one grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, April 19, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Brother Joe Watson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Burtonville Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg is after 12 Noon Monday.
Pall bearers will be Tyler Dillon, Shannon Lewis, Jeff Henderson, Justin Wilson, Bryton Walker and Brice Walker. Honorary pall bearer will be Tommy Wilson.
