Ruby Vice

December 25, 1924 — March 21, 2013

Ruby 'Cubie' K. Vice, 88, widow of Charles Mansfield Vice, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Fleming County Hosptial. Born in Ewing, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Lottie Catherine Bussell Emmons. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poplar Plains Christian Church.

Survivors include: twelve children, Larry G. (Phylis) Vice of Crossville, TN, Joan M. Story of Flemingsburg, Thomas E. Vice of Hillsboro, Janie S. (Robert) Parker of New Carlisle, OH, Terry S. Vice of Flemingsburg, Donna J. Vice of Park Hills, KY, Betty F. (Gordon) Long of Phenix City, AL, Randy N. Vice of Poplar Plains, Bill J. (Mary) Vice of Poplar Plains, Martin D. Vice of Poplar Plains, Douglas A. Vice of Poplar Plains, and Linda K. (Everett) Johnson of Georgetown, KY; a sister, Ruth (Tommy) Rankin of Tilton; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce A. Nolen.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Denton-Workman Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Gail Skaggs. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stevie Call, Dennis Ray Cooper, Ricky Pendland, Ian Metcalf, Larry Sexton, and Jewett Hyatt. Honorary pallbearers will be Jewell Call, Lonnie Emmons, Barry Emmons, Chuck Ramey, Shane Ramey, and J.W. Denton. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Care Club, P.O. Box 189, Flemingsburg, KY 41041.

1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Denton-Workman Funeral Home

Interment:
Concord Cemetery
