Samuel Bruce Newsom, infant son of Jimmy and Virginia Newsom, was stillborn on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Clark Regional Hospital in Winchester. Besides his parents, he is survived by: two sisters, Gracey and Byrdi Newsom; maternal grandfather, Sam (Tricia) Stapleton of Bath County; maternal grandmother, Connie (Jeff) Woosley of Bath County; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Karen Newsom of Fleming County; and a host of other family members consisting of great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services are private. Burial is in Fleming County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home.
