Tyler Grannis

Tyler Lane Grannis, age 19 of Flemingsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born on February 19, 1999 in Maysville, he was a son of Staci Grannis Klee and Stephen Klee of Flemingsburg. Tyler was a 2017 graduate of Fleming County High School and had completed courses at MCC Technical School to be a Lineman, and was a member of New Creation Praise and worship. Tyler was an old soul, full of life who went above and beyond and out of his way to help anyone. He was a nature lover and loved being outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, playing sports or farming. He also enjoyed coon hunting with his favorite coon dog "Grandpa". He was a member of the River Valley Whitetails and the Xtreme Southern Outdoor Junkies. Tyler loved his family and friends most of anything, and he was loved and cherished dearly by all. Besides his parents, he is survived by: his siblings, Courtney Arrasmith, Darren Arrasmith and Osborne Arrasmith; fiance', Ashley Frodge; grandparents, Jennifer Lewis of Flemingsburg, John and Generose Klee of Maysville, Barry Arrasmith of Poplar Grove, and Ron and Carla Wallingford of Ewing; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and an army of close friends. He was preceded in death by: grandfather, Gary Grannis; and grandmother, Theresa Arrasmith. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Mike Ishmael and Bro. Jimmy Hinton. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Thursday, August 9th at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elizaville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justus Walling, Zack Martin, Carl Wells, Harley Tucker, Darren Arrasmith, Josh Hamm, assisted by his many other friends. Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home is in care of funeral arrangements.
