Wayne 'Juby' Williams, Jr., 71, of Sherburne, husband of 50 years to Judy Williams, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Fleming County Hospital. Born April 28, 1942 in Bath County, he was the son of the late Lucille Buckler Williams and Wayne Williams, Sr. Juby was a retired farmer and co-owned the Sunnyview store with his son for twelve years. A member of Sherburne Christian Church, Juby loved his John Deere 'toys'. He collected anything John Deere and also any memorabilia that pertained to Flemingsburg. Juby loved nature; listening to the birds, watching the squirrels, and going fishing. He could often be found riding his 4-wheeler around Sherburne, enjoying the outdoors and going to visit everyone. Besides his wife, he is survived by: a son, Randy (Debbie) Williams of Sunnyview; a grandson, Brandon Williams; a sister, Lois Jean Graham; a sister-in-law, Jane (Mark) Caudill; two brothers-in-law, James (Edna) Watkins, and Denny Buckler; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Joyce Harding. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home by Bro. Clay Miller, Jr. and Bro. Billy Harmon. Visitation will be 11 am until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery in Bethel, KY. Pallbearers will be Woody Graham, Jason Buckler, Timmy Buckler, Mark Caudill, Glenn Stephens, Albert Harmon, and James Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Dee Buckler, Everett Wayne House, Ralph Sapp, Ralph Lockard, Adam Jolly, and Jill Crowe.
