Charles Glascock

Charles Clark Glascock, 80, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born March 7, 1942 in Fleming County, Kentucky to the late Cecil Glascock and Emma Catherine Dillon Glascock.

He was a member of Fleming Masonic Lodge #112, Tri- County Shrine Club, Oleika Shrine Temple, and Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Flemingsburg Baptist Church and most recently attended the Tilton United Methodist Church.

Charles enjoyed hunting, watching Nascar, traveling and taking cruises, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Sherri Jett Glascock, two sons; Chris Glascock and Todd (Lisa) Glascock both of Flemingsburg, one step son; Jeremy Gordley of Flemingsburg, two step daughters; Rita Chandler (Matt Moore) of Vevay, Indiana and Amber Gordley of Flemingsburg. He is also survived by one brother; Larry Glascock (Rhonda) of Flemingsburg, two sisters; Evelyn Harding (Ora Mack) of Arizona, Carolyn Vice (Clell) of Flemingsburg. Eight Grandchilren; Allison Landreth, Brad Glascock, Shelby Stacy, Christopher Chandler, Aiden Moore, Brayden Hamm, Jackson Moore, and Jett Gordley.

He was preceded in death by one sister Mary Graves.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M on Tuesday June 14, 2022 in the Fleming County Cemetery with Rev. Gail Skaggs officiating. Masonic rites by Fleming Masonic Lodge No. 112 will also be conducted at the graveside.

At his request there will be no visitation.
