Naomi Pearl Allen Ross, 84 of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at her home after a brief illness. She was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on August 21, 1937, to the late George and Effie Kissick Allen.

It was well known that Naomi was a kind and loving lady who loved children. In addition to raising her own children, she babysat many other children throughout the years. She was of the Christian faith and had a deep love for gospel music. Naomi enjoyed spending time with her family, going to local events in town, watching gospel music shows and most of all she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Thomas "Tommy" Ross, her son, Wayne Ross, her siblings, Maxine Hickerson, Dorothy James, James Allen, Owen Allen, Robert "Bob" Allen, Clayton Allen, Kenneth Allen, Sr., Ivan Allen and Donnie Allen.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Taylor and her husband Terry of Flemingsburg, daughter-in-law, Rita Ross, one sister, Leota Moyers and one brother, David Allen and his wife Beulah. Sisters-in-law, Helen Allen, Marilyn Allen and Wanda Allen. Grandchildren, Chris Ross, Matt (Amber) Ross, Kayla (Luke Buchanan) Ross and Kelsey Taylor. Great-grandchildren, Jaxen Bertram, Lukas Ross and McKenzie Ross. Also, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Pastor Greg Grimes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg is after 11:00 am until the time of service on Thursday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Matt Ross, Chris Ross, Terry Taylor, Dale Allen, Danny Allen, and Jaxen Bertram. Honorary pall bearers will be Kayla Ross, Kelsey Taylor, Lukas Ross and McKenzie Ross.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home, 405 South Main Cross Street, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041 is caring for all arrangements for Naomi Pearl Allen Ross.
