Ralph "Eddie" Ratliff

Ralph " Eddie" Edward Ratliff, 70, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Fleming County Hospital. He was born in Rowan County on December 23, 1951 to the late William Howard Taft Ratliff and Katherine Brown Ratliff Caudill.

Eddie was a skilled carpenter for many years. He enjoyed flea markets, yard sales and trading. He was Baptized at the Hillsboro Christian Church on May 24, 1994.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Vanessa Waggy Ratliff, one son; Ryan Edward Ratliff and one brother; Roger Ratliff.

Survivors include one son; Troy Edward Ratliff (Ashley) of Flemingsburg, four daughters; Marissa LouAnn Hancock (Dewayne) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Rachel Dawn Runyon (Brian) of Winchester, Kentucky, Wendy Renee Ratliff (Scott) of Hazard, Kentucky and Clisty Nicole (Anthony) Earlywine of Flemingsburg. Three brothers; Gary Ratliff of Flemingsburg, Michael Ratliff of Ackworth, Georgia, William Ratliff of Middletown, Indiana. Two sisters; Louella Lewis of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and Judy Ann Anderson of Tilton, Kentucky. Five grandchildren (Samantha, Jacob, & Taylor, Hannah & Austin) and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will take place at 11:00 A.M Friday September 2, 2022 in the Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Harley Sexton Jr. officiating.

Family and friends will serve as casket bearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael R Gray Funeral Home, to assist with burial.
